Apure le Canta
Concert Coverage
Role Cinematographer | Editor

Apure le Canta was a four-hour live concert celebrating traditional Venezuelan llanera music.
The event featured four singers and concluded with a live contrapunteo, an improvised vocal duel central to the genre.
As the first concert of its kind in the Sarasota area, it represented an important cultural moment for the Venezuelan community.
Production
Operating from a single-camera setup, I reframed in real time as each performer moved on stage, relying on anticipation and timing to maintain continuity and visual rhythm. Audio was captured live without a direct feed, requiring precise microphone placement and constant adaptability to preserve clarity and atmosphere.
From nearly four hours of footage, I selected the strongest moments from each performer and crafted individual highlight videos optimized for YouTube, preserving the authenticity and energy of the live performance.
The objective was to transform long-form documentation into engaging, shareable digital content.
